Did the tortoise win? Here's hoping. Elaine, Glenn, and I have been working on a Functional Design Specification for our advanced fiction search tool: a basic narrative about what the tool will be and do. This is good because it's the right, methodical approach. It's slow because none of us has time to work on it. My next major step will be to reach out to some folks working on digital commons for assistance. It'll be slow, but we'll get there.
